What is OPEN Sports?
The company was founded in 2008 by veterans of leading sports, Internet and news media companies. The acronym OPEN stands for the aspects of sports we cover: Opinions, People, Entertainment, and News. Using a combination of user-empowered content, in-depth editorial analysis, and dynamic odds and statistical tools, OPEN Sports aims to provide a competitive edge for its readers.

Any fantasy related functions are directly associated with FOX Sports. Clicking on the fantasy links will bring you to their fantasy homepage. Otherwise, you can access their site by going to http://msn.foxsports.com/fantasy.
What are some different features of OSN versus other sports sites?
OPEN Sports has thrown out rules of traditional Sports Media. We don't report the news, we break it down, analyze it, and recompile it. From player news to odds and statistics, OPEN Sports reports on players. In this market, the only stocks that matter, are Player Stocks. OPEN's features are built for the high rollers that expect financial grade, stock analysis.
What are the fantasy games offered by OPEN Sports?
OPEN Sports and FOX will offer Fantasy Baseball, Fantasy Football, Fantasy NASCAR, Fantasy Hockey, and Fantasy Basketball.
If I create a profile what privileges do I get?
Creating a profile enables commenting, sharing, and voting privileges. As OPEN Sports expands, users will be able to customize news elements creating a customized strategy guide for their fantasy roster.
Can I customize OPEN Sports to display only the sports and fantasy news I wish to see?
OPEN Sports will offer custom feeds and modules in a future release.
Where do I find information about different leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL)?
OPEN Sports offers information about all major sports. Each sport's scoreboard, schedule, stats, standings, news, etc. are available to visitors by selecting the type of content you're looking for and then selecting a particular sport from the drop-down menu.
How can I follow my favorite OPEN Sports bloggers?
Once you have selected on an article by your favorite blogger you will notice a listing of their latest additions and the option to View More Written by the blogger.
What is the purpose of the Facebook and Twitter links next to the blogs/articles?
This allows users to post the article and their opinion, to a social media channel. OPEN Sports also provides updates related to sports on our Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/OPENSports) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/OPENSports).
Can I participate in the forums and article discussions on OPEN Sports?
Yes. As long as you are signed-in, using your Facebook, Twitter, or OPEN Sports ID, you can comment by clicking the 'Comments' link under the article title. OPEN Sports also has an free discussion board hosted on our Facebook Fan Page: http://www.facebook.com/OPENSports
Where is the 'community' feature? (videos, photos, forums, 'featured photos', 'member toolkit')
To provide a more streamlined experience for OPEN Sports visitors, these features were removed. In the future, we will be releasing improved versions of your favorite features.
Will I be able to upload photos and/or videos?

What is the black bar at the bottom of the OPEN Sports page?
This is the OPEN Sports toolbar powered by Wibiya. The toolbar gives you access to the OPEN Sports Facebook Page and OPEN Sports Twitter profile. You can use these buttons to share OPEN Sports with your network and friends. The toolbar also contains a notification section, that OPEN Sports will use for site announcements, breaking news, and other alerts.
What is the purpose of the player card display at the top of the page?
This player ticker allows for the quick and easy viewing of top player news. This ticker will be displayed throughout the site keeping you in-the-know. Clicking the individual player cards will give you quick access to injury updates, notable news, key statistics, and social opinion.
Can older articles be accessed in archives?
Older articles and blogs can be accessed by clicking 'TOPICS' in the main navigation, and selecting a sport. There, they are sorted by date, with the most recent one first.
Where is the OPEN Sports help center?
OPEN Sports help can be access through the site wide footer, or through the 'FEEDBACK' tab displayed along the left border of the page.

I am excited to announce a number of exciting initiatives being released today from the team at OPEN Sports.
